The Covenant had been broken, and the great Tauren watched with a heavy heart as its members parted way. Soon, he knew, they would be scattered over Azeroth like leaves in a thunderstorm. Many of them would struggle on their own, homeless, without a place where they could seek sanctuary.
“Nobody should be without sanctuary,” the Tauren muttered pensively. “If it isn’t offered to us, we will make it our own.”
He sent out the call, and they answered, each in their own way. The dark lady sent her imp to deliver the message, and the archmage sent an owl. The diplomat showed up on his skeletal horse, flanked by the great hunter on his wolf. The pirate captain and the Tauren huntress came in drunk, but determined. The knight-lady smiled wryly and the young priest apprentice looked relieved. The wolf lady trotted in and barked her comments, while the secretive barmaid merely nodded. The man in the shadows appeared out of nowhere, delivered his message without anyone noticing, and disappeared again. The disturbed man had already found tranquility elsewhere, but the Troll mistress nodded her agreement and the murloc huntress started putting up her tent.
Despite the differences in wording or delivery, the meaning of their answers was the same. “The Covenant is broken,” they said, “But we shall be each other’s sanctuary.”
The Sanctuary is a World of Warcraft guild on the Moonglade server (EU). We are a medium-sized, friendly, heavy-roleplaying guild. Our guild chat is in character, although we do have an infamous out-of-character channel.
The Sanctuary is not a raiding guild, but many of our high-level member raid with external raiding groups. We recruit mature players who like to roleplay on a regular basis.
There is a guild meeting every Sunday, as well as regular guild events. We also frequently visit instances and help one another with quests whenever possible.
